The Instagram accounts of Pakistan ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan and batter Babar Azam have been blocked in India.

According to Indian media reports, users trying to access the profiles of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in India received a message saying the accounts are "not available in your region." The move was reportedly taken in response to a legal request.

As of now, neither Instagram nor Indian authorities have issued an official statement on the matter. However, the decision has sparked criticism on social media, with fans and analysts accusing India of mixing politics with sports.

This is not the first time such an action has been taken. Earlier, India has blocked the YouTube channel of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. Reports suggest the channel was taken down after Afridi criticized Indian propaganda and narratives.

Previously, the Indian government had also blocked YouTube channels of former Pakistani cricketers Rashid Latif, Shoaib Akhtar, and Basit Ali.
