Babar affirmed that he will try to keep on giving his best and make the country proud
Pakistan captain Babar Azam is proud to win the 2021 ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year Award.
The 27-year-old became the first Pakistani to win this accolade. He took to social media platforms and thanked Almighty Allah, family, friends and fans who always push him to do better with all their love and trust.
Babar affirmed that he will try to keep on giving his best and make the country proud.

It must be noted that Babar scored 405 runs in six matches last year. ICC also named him captain of the ODI and T20I teams of the year.
