Peshawar Zalmi captain said that he is not feeling any pressure regarding playing against his former PSL team
Peshawar Zalmi captain, Babar Azam, has played down his rivalry with his former teammate from Karachi Kings, Mohammad Amir.
Babar-led Zalmi will play their first game of HBL PSL 8 against Kings on Tuesday at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.
On a question regarding the potential of facing Amir in the aforementioned match, Babar said that he will stick to his basics, as he does against any other bowler.
“Competition is always good for the league. Not only Karachi, but every team has good quality local bowlers. That is why all foreigners play this league because it is a quality league,” Babar said. “When I play against any quality bowler, I stick to my basics.”
