Pakistan skipper opens up on his style of captaincy
Pakistan captain Babar Azam believes that the Men in Green must beat top-ranked side inorder to register their name among the best in the business.
While speaking to Ramiz Raja on PCB’s official YouTube channel, Babar opened up on his style of captaincy and targets on the field.
“If we want ourselves to be considered as a top side, we need to win series against top teams,” said Babar.
“I want the team to play positive but aggressive and fearless cricket, especially in white-ball cricket if we want to challenge top teams,” he added.

He also stressed on the importance of giving priority to Pakistan, over individual relations, at the ground.
“When you’re in the ground, you’re there for Pakistan and Pakistan should come first, [we are not] friends there. All your relations with individuals should be kept out of the ground,” he said.
Pakistan are currently preparing for the first Test against South Africa, which begins on January 26 in Karachi.
