Pakistan's leading cricketers, including captain Babar Azam, will participate in a Ramadan tournament to be held in Lahore. 

The event will feature other top players such as Shadab Khan, Ihsanullah, Usama Mir, Azam Khan, Usman Qadir, Umar Akmal, Ahsan Ali, and Abid Ali.

Organised by a private cricket institute, the tournament will have eight teams, with each side having the services of two international players. 

The chief organiser of the tournament is former Pakistan captain, Salman Butt, who announced the event at a press conference in Lahore on Friday.

“Such a tournament is taking place in Lahore for the first time,” said Butt during a press conference.

“This event will unearth new talent as well,” he added.

The schedule of the tournament will be revealed in due course, and the player of the match in each game will be awarded Rs30,000 by the organisers. 

Fans are eagerly waiting for the start of the event, which is expected to provide some exciting cricket action.
