Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has shifted his focus to padel tennis following the team’s disappointing exit from the ICC Champions Trophy.

Babar has been actively playing padel tennis with his brothers, fellow cricketers, and friends. Among those accompanying him on the court is his close friend and teammate, Imam-ul-Haq, along with his brothers.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam is unlikely to be included in Pakistan’s T20 squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.

It is worth noting that the national team was eliminated from the Champions Trophy, and players returned home last week. Pakistan’s next assignment is the tour of New Zealand, where they will play five T20Is and three ODIs.

According to sources, no final decision has been made regarding Babar’s inclusion in the ODI squad. However, the team management has decided to introduce young players in the T20 squad for the series.
