Th 28-year-old was one of the players directly acquired by Colombo Strikers before the auction, which took place on June 11.

The Men in Green are also expected to play a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan in second week of August. Hence, the Pakistan captain is likely to be available partially for LPL.

The upcoming fourth edition of the LPL is set to take place from July 30 to August 22.
