In a riveting match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in India, Pakistan emerged victorious against the Netherlands in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, securing an 81-run win.

The Men in Green showcased their formidable prowess, successfully defending their total of 287 by restricting the Netherlands to 205.

This victory holds a special significance as it marks the first time Pakistan has triumphed on Indian soil during a World Cup.

Babar Azam and his team etched their names in the annals of cricketing history with this notable achievement.

In the previous three World Cups held in India in 1987, 1996, and 2011, Pakistan had not managed to secure a victory.
