Pakistan captain Babar Azam stole the show with a historic 196-run knock against Australia which earned Pakistan a famous draw at National Stadium, Karachi.

Babar saw a lot of praise aimed towards him following his knock and Wisden India also acknowledged his magnificent innings by ranking it as the third-best match-saving innings from the 21st century.

"Babar Azam lived up to his reputation when his country needed him the most. He made his first Test hundred since 2020, and then piled misery on the Australia bowlers to raise hopes of an unlikely Pakistan win," Wisden India noted.

After being bowled out for 148 in the first innings, Pakistan were set a massive target of 506 runs. During the chase, Babar Azam played "an all-time great knock."

In addition to that, Babar and Pakistan broke multiple records during the second Test match which also ended in a draw.
