Nick Pothas, the assistant coach of the Bangladesh cricket team, has resigned ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
In a statement, the Chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that Pothas' contract was valid until 2026, but he decided to resign for personal reasons.
Nick Pothas expressed his gratitude for his time with the Bangladesh Cricket Board, stating, "I’ve had a great time with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. During this journey, we broke several records, made history, and created many memorable moments."
Pothas added that he now plans to spend some time at home and look forward to the next chapter in his career. "It’s time to spend some time at home and see what the next chapter holds," he concluded.
