The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed ticket prices for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, which begins on July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Ticket prices will range from Tk 300 to Tk 3,500, making the matches accessible for a wide range of cricket fans. Eastern and Northern Gallery tickets are priced at Tk 300 and Tk 400 respectively, while the Shaheed Abu Sayed Stand and Club House tickets will cost Tk 800. Premium seating in the International Gallery and Lounge ranges from Tk 1,500 to Tk 3,500. Grand Stand tickets are priced at Tk 2,500.
In an effort to streamline access and reduce physical queues, the BCB has adopted a digital-first approach. Starting July 15, fans will be able to purchase tickets online through the official eTicket platform. Buyers can choose the match date, stand, and number of tickets before paying via card or digital wallet. Each registered account will be limited to buying a maximum of four tickets per match.
Both digital and printed tickets will be accepted at the venue. Any unsold tickets will be made available at physical booths near the stadium on match days. The locations of these booths will be announced on BCB’s digital platforms closer to the matches.
All three games will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, with the second and third T20Is scheduled for July 22 and July 24, both starting at 6pm local time.
Pakistan’s national team is set to arrive in Dhaka on July 16. The series serves as a rematch following Pakistan’s 3-0 sweep over Bangladesh in Lahore back in May.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already announced its 15-member squad for the series. All-rounder Salman Ali Agha will lead the side in the absence of vice-captain Shadab Khan and key pacer Haris Rauf, both of whom have been ruled out due to injuries.
Shadab recently underwent shoulder surgery in the United Kingdom to treat a recurring issue, while Rauf sustained a hamstring injury during the Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament in the United States, where he has been a standout performer for the San Francisco Unicorns.
The Bangladesh squad is yet to be announced as the home side is currently engaged in a T20I series against Sri Lanka, which is tied 1-1. The series decider is set to take place on July 16 in Colombo.
