The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is expected to grant No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to three of its players – Litton Das, Nahid Rana, and Rishad Hossain – allowing them to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, scheduled from April 11 to May 18.

Litton Das, a wicketkeeper-batter, was selected by Karachi Kings, while leg-spinner Rishad Hossain and pacer Nahid Rana were picked by Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, respectively, in the PSL players’ draft held on January 13.

Shahriar Nafees, the BCB’s cricket operations in-charge, confirmed the board’s positive stance on the NOCs.

He stated, “The board is positive about the NOCs. All the players will get NOCs, but the board will decide how long they will be granted, considering their availability.”

Nafees further mentioned that the board will announce its decision within the next one or two days after reviewing the players' national commitments.

"The board will announce its decision after considering their availability within the next one or two days…Rishad has no international matches [as he is not part of Bangladesh's red-ball squad]. But Litton and Nahid are Test team players. The board will take the decision considering their national commitments in mind," he added.

Bangladesh is scheduled to host Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series from April 20 to May 2, which could affect Litton and Nahid's availability for the PSL.

To manage Nahid’s workload during the tournament, a member of the selection panel stated that they would liaise with his PSL franchise.

“Nahid’s workload management is a concern. We may contact his PSL team to ensure he plays while managing his workload. Even in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL), he does not play all matches due to workload management,” the official said.
