The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed the home schedule for the men's team post the T20 World Cup 2024, featuring a series of exciting ICC World Test Championship (WTC) matches and limited-overs fixtures.
India's home season will kick off in September with a visit from Bangladesh. The teams will compete in two WTC Tests followed by three T20Is. The first Test will be held in Chennai, starting on September 19, while Kanpur will host the second Test from September 27. The T20I series will see matches in Dharamshala, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
In October, New Zealand will visit India for a red-ball series, participating in three WTC Tests. These matches will take place in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai, offering cricket fans in these cities a chance to witness high-stakes Test cricket.
India’s home season will conclude with a white-ball series against England starting in January 2025. The two sides will clash in five T20Is and three ODIs. The series will commence on January 22, marking an exciting start to the new year for cricket enthusiasts.
