Pakistan and India last played Test cricket in 2007 and fans across the globe are deprived of watching the two teams play the elite format of the game.

Many boards and associations have made efforts and shown interest in conducting a Test series between India and Pakistan. Few months back, England made efforts to host the Test series and now Australia's Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) have made an inquiry to Cricket Australia (CA) about hosting the Test at Melbourne.

Meanwhile, a source from BCCI has told ANI that India is not planning to host a Test series between arch-rivals India and Pakistan

"No such plans for India and Pakistan Test series in future or in any country, if someone has such kind of wish keep it to yourself.

MCC Chief Executive Stuart Fox had said the atmosphere at that match showed there would be no problem filling the venue for a Test series between the two.

"The atmosphere for that game, I've never felt anything like it," Fox told radio station SEN. "The noise after every ball was phenomenal. Three (Tests) in a row would be lovely at the MCG; you'd fill it every time.
