England cricket team captain Ben Stokes has once again suffered a hamstring injury.

According to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Stokes sustained the injury on the third day of the final Test match against New Zealand in Hamilton.

It is worth noting that England currently holds an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match Test series against New Zealand. In the first Test, England secured a convincing 8-wicket victory, while in the second Test, they handed the hosts a massive 323-run defeat.

The third and final Test is underway in Hamilton, where England won the toss and opted to bowl first. New Zealand scored 347 runs in their first innings, while England managed only 143 runs in response, leaving them 204 runs behind. In their second innings, New Zealand posted an impressive 453 runs.

At the end of the third day's play, England is chasing a daunting target of 640 runs, with two of their batters already dismissed.

This injury comes as a significant concern for England, given their strong performance in the series so far.
