Former West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop has shared his predictions for the semi-finalists of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which will be jointly hosted by the United States and the West Indies.

In a conversation with ESPNCricinfo, Bishop, identified West Indies, England, India, and Australia as his picks to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament.

Bishop also speculated that Virat Kohli’s longstanding record for the most runs in a single T20 World Cup season could be surpassed this year. Kohli set this record during the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, amassing 319 runs, including four half-centuries, at an extraordinary average of 106.33.

The tournament is set to kick off on Saturday, June 1, with the USA facing Canada in the opening match. The grand finale of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled for June 29, promising a month-long feast of thrilling cricket action.
