Pakistan Women's team captain Bismah Maroof will be carrying the national flag at the Commonwealth Games 2022 opening ceremony.
Pakistani wrestler Muhammad Inam will accompany Bismah as a flag bearer at the ceremony in Birmingham.
Bsimah has represented Pakistan in 118 one-day internationals and 114 T20 internationals. She has an impressive record both with the bat and ball.
She made his comeback ahead of the ICC World Cup this year after being away on paternity leave. The Commonwealth Games Federation has also made arrangements for her daughter Fatima's stay during the tournament.
Apart from cricket, the players from Pakistan will participate in 12 disciplines including Aquatics (swimming) Athletics, Para-Athletics, Boxing, Badminton, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Squash, Table Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
