Australia has suffered a setback ahead of the second Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, scheduled to begin on December 6 in Adelaide.

Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the match due to an injury to his left side. Cricket Australia has confirmed his unavailability and announced the inclusion of Sean Abbott and Brendan Doggett in the squad as replacements.

Despite his injury, Hazlewood will remain with the team in Adelaide.

The second Test, a day-night encounter, marks a crucial point in the five-match series, where India currently leads 1-0.
