Right-arm pacer picked up nine wickets for Riders in his eight-match stint
Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim and pacer Haris Rauf finished their stints at the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 with commendable bowling performances.
Wasim, playing for Sylhet Strikers against Khulna Tigers, was adjudged player of the match for his economical spell of 2/10 in 4 overs.
The all-rounder first trapped opener Munim Shahriar lbw for 3 inside the powerplay. He returned in the attack and bowled Yasir Ali for 12 in the eighth over of the innings, to help his team restrict Khulna to only 113/8 in 20 overs. His team chased the target and won the match by six wickets.
Left-arm spinner finished with the tournament with 12 wickets at an impressive economy of 5.11.
Rauf was equally impressive while representing Rangpur Riders against Chattogram Challengers on Wednesday.

The right-arm pacer picked up two wickets in his four-over spell, while conceding only 14 runs.
Riders restricted Challengers to 132/8 in 20 overs and chased the target in 16 overs with seven wickets in hand. Rauf was also rewarded with player of the match award for his bowling performance.
Rauf picked up nine wickets for Riders in his eight-match stint.
The duo will return to Pakistan to join their respective PSL franchises for the upcoming edition, scheduled to begin on February 13.
