Former Australian has put his support behind the Rizwan-led team and backed them to win the HBL PSL 7
Former Australian bowler Brad Hogg has identified Multan Sultans as the team to beat in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) after registering four successive victories.
Led by Mohammad Rizwan, Multan Sultans have delivered tremendous performances with Rizwan scoring two half-centuries himself, Shan Masood reinventing himself as a T20 player, Tim David with his clutch performances, and the bowling department being reliable as ever.
Sultans have played four matches and have outclassed their opponents on all four occasions. After registering a 20-run victory over Islamabad United, Multan Sultans look very likely to retain their title and become the first-ever franchise to do so.
Speaking about Multan's performances, Brad Hogg took it to Twitter and said: "Only 8 matches in, and Multan Sultans look the team to beat. Batting depth and good variety in the bowling."

The Multan's batting unit has stepped up massively as they have had tremendous contributions from the top-order. After losing Rizwan - top T20 performer - early on, Shan Masood, Rilee Rossouw, and Tim David combined to propel Sultans' total to 217 against Islamabad.

With the experience of Imran Tahir, Rumman Raees, and David Willey, the bowling unit of Sultans look extremely strong as well.
