West Indian all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite is determined to lift the Pakistan Super League (PSL) trophy for his franchise Peshawar Zalmi.

While speaking in a YouTube video on Peshawar Zalmi’s channel, the all-rounder said that he is happy to be back on the field with his Zalmi teammates.

“We are here to win it. You always want to win it. We left in not the best of circumstances and it is pleasure to be back on the field,” Brathwaite said.

“We definitely want to win. I have not met all the players in the squad but whenever we will meet, we know we are here for one goal and that’s to win. We are three wins away from lifting the trophy and that is the only thing that is on our minds,” he added.

Brathwaite also had a special message for Zalmi fans ahead of their eliminator against Lahore Qalandars on November 14 in Karachi.

“Keep supporting us, maintain social distance and be safe from Covid-19. I hope that we can give you something to smile and be proud about,” he concluded.
