Champions Cup: Markhors advance to final after rain washes out Eliminator match

As per the tournament rules, in case of a washout during the play-offs, the team that ranked higher during the league stage will progress to the next round

Markhors have secured a place in the final of the Champions One-Day Cup after their Eliminator match against Lions was washed out due to rain at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on Friday.

As per the tournament rules, in case of a washout during the play-offs, the team that ranked higher during the league stage will progress to the next round. Markhors, who finished at the top of the table with three wins and 38 points, advanced to the final. NLions, who ended in fourth place with one win and 12 points, were eliminated.

The Markhors will now face the Panthers in the final on 29 September at Iqbal Stadium.
