Playing at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the Markhors set a challenging target of 180 runs for the loss of six wickets. Fakhar Zaman delivered an exceptional performance, scoring 89 runs off 64 balls, while Abdul Samad contributed 41 runs. Afaq Afridi stood out for the Lions, taking three wickets.
In response, the Lions managed to score 151 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Taha scored 44 runs, and Hassan added 27, but their efforts fell short. Akif Javed was the pick of the bowlers for the Markhors, claiming three wickets, while Shahab took two.
The final showdown of the Champions T20 Cup will take place on December 25, with the Markhors facing off against the Stallions.
