Champions Trophy 2025: Indian cricket team arrives in Dubai

The Indian cricket team has arrived in Dubai for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. A large number of cricket fans gathered at the Dubai airport to welcome the squad.  

This time, the Indian team traveled without their personal staff, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently imposed a ban on players bringing their personal chefs and hairdressers.  

Fans at the airport noticed the absence of the cricketers' usual entourage, who were previously seen ensuring VIP treatment for the players. One fan jokingly remarked, "This time, the Indian stars will be focused on cricket, not their hairstyles!"  

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh team, led by captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, held a practice session at the ICC Academy.  

On Monday, Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh will face off in a warm-up match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.  

The Indian team will have an optional practice session at the ICC Academy on Sunday or participate in a physical training session at their hotel.  

India's first match of the tournament is scheduled for February 20 against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
