The ICC Champions Trophy is set to begin in Pakistan on February 19, and in preparation for the event, development work at Gaddafi Stadium is progressing rapidly.

The installation of new seats at Gaddafi Stadium has already started, while new LED lights are also being installed, along with the ongoing work for the installation of new scoreboards.

Meanwhile, an ICC delegation recently visited Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium to review the arrangements for the Champions Trophy. The stadium’s upgrade is expected to be completed this month, and it will host three matches of the Champions Trophy.

The ICC delegation has also visited National Stadium, where a six-member team, including broadcasters and logistics personnel, was briefed on the development work. The deadline for completing the developmental work at National Stadium is set for January 25.

The ICC Champions Trophy, hosted by Pakistan, will begin on February 19, with the opening match to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi.
