The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on February 19, with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the opening match
India’s captain Rohit Sharma has shared his approach on the much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Speaking at an awards ceremony, Rohit stated that his team would approach the match just like any other, staying focused on delivering a strong performance.
"We will do what is expected from any cricket team on that day," Rohit Sharma said.
He further added that the team is not giving any special attention to this particular game. "We are not making any specific mention of this match. Our focus is simply on playing good cricket, and we will do just that," he remarked.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on February 19, with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the opening match.
Pakistan, placed in Group A, will play their highly anticipated match against India on February 23.
It is worth noting that in the last ICC Champions Trophy final, Pakistan defeated India in a one-sided contest at The Oval, securing their first-ever title in the tournament.
