According to CAA, PAF aircraft will perform the flypast on February 19 as part of the celebrations
Karachi is set to witness an exciting flypast by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets during the opening ceremony of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In preparation for this event, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to airlines.
According to CAA, PAF aircraft will perform the flypast on February 19 as part of the celebrations. Commercial flights arriving at Karachi Airport have been advised to take necessary precautions.
During the flypast, a designated air corridor will remain closed, and a NOTAM has been issued accordingly. As a precautionary measure, airlines have also been instructed to carry additional fuel.
The Civil Aviation Authority has formally communicated these guidelines to all airlines via NOTAM.
