COAS Gen Munir hosts iftar dinner for Pakistan cricket team

General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), hosted an iftar dinner for the Pakistan cricket team at the Army House in Rawalpindi on Monday.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi, as well as players who had undergone training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad earlier this month in preparation for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand.

During the gathering, General Syed Asim Munir expressed his best wishes to the players for their future endeavors.

The cricketers, in turn, expressed gratitude to the COAS for the high-quality training they received at Kakul and acknowledged the significant role played by the army in supporting sports in Pakistan.
