Islamabad United’s Colin Munro and Multan Sultans’ captain Mohammad Rizwan have both been fined 30% of their match fees for breaching the HBL PSL Code of Conduct during their recent encounter in PSL 10.

The two cricketers were found guilty of violating Article 2.13 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.

This article refers to the "personal abuse of a player, player support personnel, umpire or match referee during a match."

The incident took place during the 10th over of Islamabad United's run chase. Munro, who was at the crease, appeared to gesture towards Multan bowler Iftikhar Ahmed after a delivery. The situation quickly escalated when Mohammad Rizwan intervened and exchanged words with Munro, leading to a heated moment on the field.

Match referee Ali Naqvi handed out the penalties after both players admitted to the offense and accepted the proposed sanctions without any contest.

The charges were formally brought forward by on-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Chris Brown.
