Commentary panel announced for upcoming Champions One-Day Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the commentary lineup for the much-anticipated Champions One-Day Cup, set to take place from September 12 to 29 at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. 

The commentary team will feature seasoned experts including Sikandar Bakht, Marina Iqbal, Salman Butt, Shah Faisal, and Ali Younis. Additionally, Meesha Imran will take on the role of the tournament's presenter.

The Champions One-Day Cup will see five competitive teams—Dolphins, UMT Markhors, Panthers, Allied Bank Stallions, and Nurpur Lions—battle it out in a series of thrilling matches. 

Leadership for the teams has been well-appointed, with Saud Shakeel captaining the Dolphins under the mentorship of Sarfaraz Ahmed. Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the Lions, guided by Waqar Younis. Mohammad Haris will helm the Stallions, supported by Shoaib Malik, while Mohammad Rizwan will lead the Markhors, with Misbah-ul-Haq as coach. The Panthers will be captained by Shadab Khan, with Saqlain Mushtaq providing mentorship.

The tournament will kick off with an exciting opening match between the Panthers and UMT Markhors, scheduled for September 12 at 3:00 PM (PST) at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
