Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the commentators for the upcoming two-match Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which will be played from July 16 to 28, 2023.

The commentary panel includes Ramiz Raja, Russell Arnold, Aamer Sohail, Roshan Abeysinghe, and Tino Mawoyo.

Raja will be making a comeback to commentary after a brief hiatus. Following his appointment as the chairman of the PCB in September 2021, the former cricketer took a break from commentary responsibilities.

However, his tenure was cut short when he and other PCB members were ousted from their positions after only a year, leading to the formation of a 14-member management committee led by Najam Sethi.

Following his ouster, Raja remained active on his YouTube channel, but didn’t commentate during the PSL season 8 or Pakistan’s home series against New Zealand.

The series is a part of the ICC World Test Championship, and both teams will be looking to win the series and gain maximum points.

The first Test match will be played at Galle from July 16-20, while the second Test match will be played at Colombo from July 24-28.
