Pakistan’s legendary batsman Inzamamul Haq, in a YouTube video, claimed that wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan would be completely useless batting down the order for the Men in Green in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
The 50-year-old claimed that the best version of Rizwan, in terms of batting, will be visible up the order.
"I am happy that they [rewarded] Rizwan for his Test match form. Picking Rizwan was still a difficult choice to make [even though] his wicketkeeping was already brilliant," Inzamam said.

"We weren't able to see his batting though. In order to see the best version of Rizwan as a batsman, they'd have to send him to bat up the order. If you don't play him in top order then he'd be completely useless. Lower down the order, Sarfaraz Ahmed is more effective than Rizwan," he added.
The first T20I between England and Pakistan was abandoned due to rain. Rizwan however has been receiving widespread praise for his wicketkeeping abilities. Pakistan’s former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has not been part of the playing XI during the ongoing tour of England due to Rizwan’s continued excellence behind the stumps.
