Cricket Australia has extended warm wishes to Muslims around the world on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a message shared on social media, Cricket Australia wrote, “Ramadan Kareem! We hope this month brings you joy and togetherness.”
Additionally, Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja, known for his strong connection to his faith, shared a picture from his pre-dawn meal (Sehri) on social media, marking the beginning of Ramadan.
Khawaja, who has often spoken about his experiences as a practicing Muslim in international cricket, took this opportunity to embrace and celebrate the spiritual significance of the month.
