Pakistan pacer, Shahnawaz Dahani, has signed with the Harare Hurricanes for the upcoming Zim Afro T10 League. In a similar move, Asif Ali has been signed by the Durban Qalandars ahead of the league's draft.

The Hurricanes is co-owned by Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt, whereas, Lahore Qalandars, also announced their acquisition of a franchise in the Zim Afro T10, with the Durban Qalandars becoming their team for the inaugural edition of the league.

Dahani has also secured a spot in the Pakistan Shaheens' squad for the ACC Emerging Asia Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from July 14 to July 23. If the Shaheens qualify for the tournament's finals, Dahani may miss the first few matches of the Zim Afro T10.

The player's draft for the Zim Afro T10 League is set to take place on July 2nd during a grand ceremony in Harare. The tournament itself will kick off on July 20 and culminate with an exciting final on July 29, all hosted in Harare.

Some other notable direct signings ahead of the draft include Eoin Morgan, Evin Lewis, and Robin Uthappa for the Harare Hurricanes, as well as Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Karim Janat, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Maheesh Theekshana for the Cape Town Samp Army. The Durban Qalandars have secured players such as Sisanda Magala, George Linde, and Hazratullah Zazai.
