Dale Steyn names Babar Azam as best batsman across all formats

Legendary South African pacer Dale Steyn has voiced his opinion regarding the debate of who is currently the best batsman right now.

Steyn conducted a Q&A session on Twitter on Thursday afternoon where he answered a number of fans who asked him all sorts of questions.

One question which attracted Steyn was regarding the best batsmen across all formats.

His response was direct and to the point; he named Babar Azam and added, "he is pretty darn good."

Babar Azam has risen to prominence in the world of cricket and his name has been on everyone's list. Earlier today, Shane Watson named Babar as his second-best batsman in Test cricket ahead of Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, and Joe Root.

Babar's performances have remained sensational across all formats and his display in the recently concluded Australian series also attracted high praise from legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
