Former Australian cricketer David Boon has stepped down from his role as a cricket match referee.
Boon, who was part of the ICC match referee panel, has now decided to leave the position. He will now take on a new role as a member of the Cricket Australia board.
Cricket Australia has appointed David Boon to fill a vacant position on the board. The former batter will officially join the Cricket Australia board on March 28.
Currently, Boon is fulfilling his duties as a referee for the Champions Trophy.
