HBL PSL 7: David Gower tests positive for Covid-19

The 64-year-old didn't arrive at Gaddafi Stadium to commentate in the match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars

Legendary England batter David Gower has tested positive for Covid-19 before the Qualifier of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.

According to sources, the 64-year-old is under isolation now. He didn't arrive at Gaddafi Stadium to commentate in the match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.

Gower is the third commentator after Danny Morrison and Urooj Mumtaz who have become the victim of the virus.

Sources also added that the trio will no longer be available for commentary in the HBL PSL 7

Meanwhile, the truck-style commentary box special designed for Lahore-leg has also been removed from the ground and will no longer be used. The commentary will be done from the designated room for the remaining matches.
