Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma is set to return to The Hundred, playing for the London Spirit Women. Deepti, who played for the same team in the inaugural edition in 2021 and for Birmingham Phoenix in 2022, will replace the injured Grace Harris, who has been ruled out of the tournament.
Deepti comes into the competition in good form, having delivered crucial performances in the recent series against South Africa. Earlier this year, she was named Player of the Tournament in the Women's Premier League (WPL), where she scored 295 runs in 8 matches and took 10 wickets.
Deepti will be one of three Indian players in this year's Hundred. Smriti Mandhana will play for Southern Brave, while Richa Ghosh will represent Birmingham Phoenix.
Additionally, Sophie Molineux, who was set to play for Manchester Originals, has been ruled out due to a broken finger. She will be replaced by Kim Garth.
