Pakistan women's cricket team fast bowler Diana Baig has expressed her satisfaction with the improvement in the fast bowling unit under the guidance of coach Junaid Khan.

Diana highlighted the progress made during a pre-World Cup fitness camp.

“The fitness camp before the World Cup helped us work on our physical conditioning,” Diana said.

She also reflected on the recent series against South Africa in Multan, describing it as a valuable experience in their World Cup preparations.

Meanwhile, former captain Nida Dar shared her optimism about the team's readiness for the ICC Women’s World Cup.

“The series against South Africa in Multan gave us a great opportunity to gear up for the mega event,” Nida said.

She also pointed out the advantage Pakistan will have playing in the UAE’s hot conditions, which are similar to those in Pakistan.

“The pitches in the UAE are expected to favor spinners, and we have quality spinners like Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu in the squad,” Nida added.
