Dinesh Karthik joins SA20 league as brand ambassador

Former Indian cricket team and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) veteran Dinesh Karthik is set to become a brand ambassador for the SA20 league.

Karthik will join forces with fellow RCB legend AB de Villiers in promoting the high-energy league. Known for his extensive experience in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Karthik aims to help expand the league’s global fan base.

On joining the SA20 league, Karthik expressed his excitement: “The League has been electric in the first two seasons with some of the world’s best players on show and exciting young talent putting up their hands on the global stage.”

Karthik’s legacy in the IPL is impressive. As one of the league's founding members, he has played 257 matches, making him the joint second-highest in appearances alongside Rohit Sharma and just behind MS Dhoni's record of 264 games. Recently, Karthik was named the new batting coach and mentor for Royal Challengers Bangalore for IPL 2025 following his retirement.
