Dinesh Karthik reveals his favorite rival team in cricket

Former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has opened up about his favorite team to play against during his illustrious cricket career. 

In a recent interview with a prominent sports platform, Karthik expressed a deep sense of nostalgia and excitement when discussing matches against Pakistan.

"My favourite team to play against is Pakistan because there was so much fan following and the rivalry was so high always. It was always a lot of fun playing a game against Pakistan. When you do well against them, its even better," Karthik said.

The historic rivalry between India and Pakistan is a captivating one. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), the two teams have clashed 135 times, with India securing 57 victories and Pakistan winning 73 matches. Five matches ended without a result.

In Test cricket, India and Pakistan have played 59 matches, with India winning 9 and Pakistan winning 12. The remaining 38 matches ended in a draw.

In Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), the teams have faced off 13 times, with India winning 10 and Pakistan claiming 3 victories.

Regarding the T20 World Cup, India leads the head-to-head record 6-1, with India winning six times and Pakistan winning once.

In ICC ODI World Cup tournaments, India and Pakistan have met 8 times, with India winning all 8 encounters and Pakistan not securing a victory.
