Faf du Plessis, Sunil Narine, Moeen Ali will take part in the eighth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
According to details, all three players will play for Comilla Victorians, the two-time champions of the BPL.
Nafisa Kamal, the managing director of Comilla, also confirmed to Bangladesh media that her team has roped in Du Plessis, Narine and Moeen for the next BPL season.
This was the reason these players didn't register for HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven. The players were also not part of the draft which took place last Sunday.
The BPL is scheduled to get underway on January 20 and is likely to continue for around a month until February 20. However, it’s clashing with the PSL, which is set to start on January 27.
Meanwhile, BPL management is not concerned with the clash with PSL. They are looking to host players' draft this month with teams likely to have three foreign players in their squad. Six franchises will play the competition.
“We are not worried about the PSL and we are expecting to host the players draft of this month but the only thing that we are worried about is the corona situation," Sheikh Sohel, BPL governing council member said on Monday.
