Ahead of the Champions Trophy final, Dubai Police has issued a statement urging spectators to strictly follow sports regulations while attending the match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Authorities have warned that violating sports laws could result in imprisonment ranging from one to three months, along with fines between AED 5,000 (PKR 380,000) and AED 30,000 (PKR 2.28 million).

Dubai Police emphasized that fireworks, racism, and political activities will not be tolerated during the match. Additionally, throwing objects at players or spectators could lead to fines ranging from AED 10,000 (PKR 761,000) to AED 30,000 (PKR 2.28 million).

The statement comes after an incident in the semi-final, where a cricket fan breached security and ran onto the field after the match.

The highly anticipated Champions Trophy final between India and New Zealand is scheduled for Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
