Contributing significantly to the chase was Andre Fletcher, who played a quickfire innings of 29 runs off only 11 deliveries, finding the boundary five times during his impressive stay at the crease.
Asif Ali also made a vital contribution by smashing 21 runs off just nine balls, hitting consecutive sixes against Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarbani. The bowler bore the brunt of Asif Ali's onslaught, conceding 40 runs in just two overs.
Johannesburg Buffalos managed to score 127 runs in their 10 overs while batting first. Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez stood out for the Buffalos, scoring 32 runs off a mere 13 balls, exhibiting his boundary-hitting prowess with six well-timed fours.
