The England Cricket Board's (ECB) Chief Executive Officer, Richard Gould, is set to visit Multan next week, arriving on October 14.

According to sources, Gould will stay in the city for four days, during which he will attend the second Test match between Pakistan and England and engage in discussions with officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Meanwhile, the ECB's Managing Director, Rob Key, has departed from Pakistan today. Additionally, English fast bowler Olly Stone has left for England to attend his wedding, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday. Stone is expected to return to Multan on October 16.

In the ongoing Test match, Pakistan made a strong start, winning the toss and electing to bat first. The home side posted a substantial 556-run total in their first innings, setting a challenging target for England.

The visitors, however, have responded with a positive batting performance, scoring over 350 runs for the loss of three wickets, with Joe Root and Harry Brook making significant contributions.
