The National Bank Stadium in Karachi was all set to host the third and final match of Group B in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but the atmosphere inside the stadium was creepily quiet. Despite the match between South Africa and England being of great importance, the stands were nearly empty, and players were left waiting for fans who never arrived.

After winning the toss, England decided to bat first, but the lack of spectators made the match feel lackluster. With very few fans in attendance, the final match of Group B in Karachi seemed somewhat dull.

This match is crucial for South Africa as a win would guarantee them a spot in the semi-finals. Even if they lose, South Africa's chances of advancing to the Final Four are still strong. However, if England manages to win by 207 runs or more, Afghanistan could sneak into the semi-finals based on a better net run rate.

Currently, Australia has four points, while South Africa has three and Afghanistan has two points. Australia has already secured their spot in the semi-finals, while New Zealand and India have confirmed their places from Group A.
