England Men’s cricket team has confirmed their playing XI for their opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against Australia, which is set to take place on Saturday in Lahore.

Jamie Smith returns to the side, batting at No. 3 and taking on the role of wicketkeeper. Jofra Archer is selected alongside fellow seamers Brydon Carse and Mark Wood.

Phil Salt will open the innings along with Ben Duckett, while Joe Root will play at number 4.
