England’s campaign in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy will begin on February 22, 2025, with their first match against Australia in Lahore
The England Men’s selection panel has announced the squads for next month’s white-ball tour of India and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted in Pakistan during February and March 2025. Both squads consist of 15 players and mark the first tour and tournament under Head Coach Brendon McCullum.
The India tour includes three ODIs and five T20is, followed by the Champions Trophy. Notably, Joe Root returns to the ODI squad for the first time since the ICC Men’s World Cup in November 2023. However, Ben Stokes has not been considered for selection as he continues to recover from a left hamstring injury sustained during the third Test match against New Zealand earlier this month.
