Naseem Shah took two crucial wickets of Ben Stokes and Harry Brook as the score reached record 600 runs, but it was not enough as the tailenders started to hit boundaries all over the stadium.

With the score now past 600 runs, England is now the highest run scorer in a Test match innings at Rawalpindi stadium.

The record for most runs scored in an innings was made by arch-rivals India, who scored 600 runs against Pakistan in 2004.

It is to be noted that England had broken many records, including a 112-year-old record of scoring 500 runs in a single day of a Test match.
