England’s One-Day International series with South Africa has been cancelled after reported breaches of the teams’ bio-secure environment in Cape Town, broadcaster Sky Sports reported on Monday.
One South Africa player and two hotel staff are confirmed Covid-19 cases from within the bio-secure hotel.
Two members of England cricket's touring party in South Africa had also returned unconfirmed positive tests for Covid-19, forcing Sunday's first one-day international in Paarl to be cancelled.
The match in Paarl was to have opened the one-day series after Friday's scheduled first match in Cape Town was scrapped just before play was to begin after a South African player tested positive for coronavirus.
Three Twenty20 internationals (T20Is) were played between the both side, which the visitors won 3-0, before the abandoned series.
